The On Co-op Blog. Posted by: Shane Arbuthnott. On: November 29, 2010. In: Intern Blog Post. The move from academic writing to more business-oriented writing has shifted my methods of emphasis, and I’m starting to wonder if that’s good or bad. But in writing for On Co-op, I’m quite often trying to capture attention, rather than letting it come to me. The On Co-op Blog. Posted by: Shane Arbuthnott. On: February 25, 2011. In: Intern Blog Post. This week I got to tackle the On Co-op eNewsletter for the first time. The eNewsletter is more formal than the blog, which meant exploring a different tone than the one I use here. Formal news delivery isn’t new to me, since I often post news stories through the RSS feed on the website, but I found that in the longer newsletter format, dry reporting wouldn’t do. The On Co-op Blog. That’s All, Folks. Posted by: Shane Arbuthnott. On: March 25, 2011. Apparently I’m all about pop–or un-pop–culture references in my titles now.). The day is winding down, my list of tasks to frantically finish is dwindling, and after a quick clean-up my desk is looking fairly sparse. It’s the final two hours of my internship. Good night, god bless, and may time bring us all our fondest hopes. Share on Facebook (Opens in new window). Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new window).

The On Co-op Blog. That’s All, Folks. A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Co-op…. Posted by: Shane Arbuthnott. On: March 22, 2011. It’s time for a little retrospect. I promise I won’t go all maudlin on you, but this being the last week of my internship it seems unavoidable to write about lessons learned, skills developed, co-operations co-operated. The On Co-op Blog. Posted by: Shane Arbuthnott. On: March 7, 2011. In: Intern Blog Post. The end of the internship is starting to loom. I’ve been aware of it before, but now it’s starting to invade my personal space, peek over my shoulder at my computer screen (“Is answering that email really the best use of your remaining time? 8221;) and breathe down the back of my neck. Altogether rude. Share on Facebook (Opens in new window). Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new window). Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

What Comes Next | The On Co-op Blog

The On Co-op Blog. Posted by: Shane Arbuthnott. On: February 28, 2011. In: Intern Blog Post. I’ve decided to start the day with a blog, rather than save it for the end–as I’ve mentioned before, that often ends up with rushed writing. Which means that by the time you spot a tasty-looking hare, there are usually twelve other hunters trying to wrestle it to the ground. I’ve been reading articles.
