The Common Sense of Business. Newer posts →. July 28, 2013 · 3:34 am. I’m Leaning In. I hate admitting when I am wrong. But, boy was I wrong about Sheryl Sandberg’s book Lean In. I had bought into the vilified image the press had created: she was advocating that women just needed to lean in. There was no responsibility for corporate America to change. I thought: I have been leaning in for my entire career! It is time for the business community to step up and lean in! I realized her stories probably reson...

Common Sense Obituary, Has Common Sense past away?
Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend, Common Sense, who has been with us for many years. No one knows for sure how old he was, since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape. He will be remembered as having cultivated such valuable lessons as:. Knowing when to come in out of the rain;. Why the early bird gets the worm;. Life isn't always fair;. And maybe it was my fault. Common Sense lost the will to live as the churches became businesses; and criminals received better ...

The Common Sense of Business. April 28, 2014 · 8:53 pm. The Ethics of Privacy: The Benefits of Data Gathering. My family vacations at an amazing place called The Chautauqua Institution. Summer camp for the kids, a daily lecture series for adults, and symphonies and ballets in the evening for everyone. Each week is given a theme. This year, we’ll be there for the week centered on The Ethics of Privacy. Almost everything we do leaves a digital footprint. After putting two and two together it was clear that...

Every office uses paper. Paper is used for printing, photocopies, faxes and writing. We’ve been promised a paperless office for over 20 years now but it hasn’t happened. So when is the best time to get paper? Look for paper sales. And buy more then. It sounds simple but many offices don’t do this.
