The Radio Communications Foundation is a Registered Charity. Set up by, but independent from, the Radio Society of Great Britain. Its main aim is to create a fund which can be used to support initiatives to bring radio communications into the classroom, universities and any place where hands-on demonstrations enhance understanding of the world of radio communications. The Foundation’s strategy of bringing the benefits of radio to young people and encouraging the use of technology guides its work.

We see donations arising from a number of sources, principally. Members of the RSGB. At present a large number of RSGB members are making donations with their membership renewals. These donations are being treated as donations to the charity and where possible advantage will be taken of Gift Aid. Many RSGB members make provisions in their wills regarding amateur radio.
