To hope or not to hope. This entry was posted on 11 03 2014, in Challenge. Do you believe you can achieve anything? But what about those days when the mountain just seems too big? Should we stop climbing and find a smaller hill easier to tackle? Or is it best to try and go around it? Is it ever ok to stop hoping our dreams may come true? This entry was posted on 18 03 2014, in Challenge. Are you picking the right battles? Or is it time to hang the gloves? Do you remember last time you got fired up about an issue at work? Disagreed with your client? Fiercely protested for your ideas to be heard? I recall arguing about a process I felt our organisation desperately needed to change. I was like a dog with a bone – I just wouldn’t let go. I fought the issue for years, only to achieve minuscule successes. When the issue is close to our hearts,.

Where your allegiance lies. This entry was posted on 13 02 2014, in Inspiration. Every Olympic Games I get asked where my allegiance lies. Do I cheer for my native country Canada? Or my adoptive nation Australia? Although Olympic Games create an opportunity for so many cultures, languages and beliefs to celebrate together in a way no other event does, they also generate the most ‘me vs you’ attitude. They are ultimate incubators of national pride or identity. Crazy idea, isn’t it? 13 02 2014 at 12:00 pm.
