At 5:00 AM on Saturday morning, Katya called out to me from the restroom that water had broke. We raced to the hospital and within a couple hours she had delivered Dimitri Jack Evans. He is sooooo beautiful. He is such a precious little baby! He is wonderful. His grandma and Papa welcome him to the world. We love you all. April 18, 2009 at 7:14 PM.

There are times when we can’t imagine what our life was like before he arrived. We certainly can’t remember sleeping through the night. We love him very much, and judging by the constant smile on his face, I think he knows it. Dimitri has recently received his bottom two teeth. They irritate him a lot - but he's so darn cute!
