At the art museum in roanoke, i saw a ladder happening made from stepping devices gathered from throughout the city. terrific alternative ladders and more traditional step and extension ladders, fastened together with zip ties, made for an interesting installation. Headed toward spring break.but the students continue to press forward in teams of three as they work on JENGA 3.0. kara koy cassie bradfield gather around their physical model, squaring up their ideas. Tom ford on the creative process. My friend and fellow designer extraordinaire sent me a link to this tom ford video on the creative process and creative professions. it's worth a gander to see the story behind this fascinating designer, his life of design, and his sources of inspiration. And while you are at it.you might check out suzanne's blog. Too, for design inspiration. Learning spaces slide show. Blurry boundaries for design. Find Your Inspirations: Contradictions
http://jennifercochran18.blogspot.com/2010/04/contradictions.html
Wednesday, April 14, 2010. We all seem to have things in common. We all seem to have distinct qualities. We all know nothing is what it seems. We all know the end justifies the means. We all learn to believe in new things. We all learn to stick to what we know. We all want what we can never have. We all want what we let go. We all dream of bigger and better things. We all dream things will stay the same. In our world of contradictions. We all grow older. In our world of technology. We all grow younger.

Chelsea R. Jackson. Thursday, April 21, 2011. Labels: IAR 541 Professional Practice (Spring 2011). Monday, April 18, 2011. I found this assignment to be very personally rewarding.
