Thursday, August 14, 2014. Loom bands craze gone wild-. Loom bands are colourful rubber bands about the size of child's thumb that you weave into. Bracelets, necklaces, ring, etc. They are a threat to nature because e.g. the meerkats at Hamilton zoo. Have eaten them and probably some other animals have to. Loom bands are not biodegradable they don't brake down because they are not made out of. Recycle material and now there going to end up in our seas and landfills. They are so bad.
