Web 2.0: My Face Book
http://reva-rose.blogspot.com/2008/10/my-face-book.html
Sunday, October 12, 2008. It took me a while to create face book and post the photos. I tried to upload the vedio but, I couldn't. I gave up. It's a great way to share the images. First of all it's free and gives access to somany; interactive. To some extent, you can handle the access control issues. However, you got to watch for the hackers which may create some greives. sotto voce ~ in a quiet voice: The beach in October?
http://inaquietvoice.blogspot.com/2008/10/beach-in-october.html
Sotto voce in a quiet voice. Saturday, October 18, 2008. The beach in October? So I just had to post this cute picture from Thanksgiving. We spent Sunday with my husband's family at a provincial park, and this is my youngest son's first time on the beach. We hadn't anticipated the weather to be so warm, so we just stripped him down to his diaper, and let him have fun. So much for my cloth diaper crusade. Ah well, you can't win them all! Web 2.0 Training: Wiki's!
http://nadinesweb20training.blogspot.com/2008/11/wikis.html
Monday, November 3, 2008. As a university student, I was always warned never ever to use Wiki's- specifically Wikipedia for as an informational source for a paper. After finding out that literally anybody can add or edit on a wiki I understood why. Yet I can see the benefits. I could also see us using one for collaborative effort documents that change on a regular basis and from many different sources- mainly team work plans. It would be a great way to stay up to date. We are a pretty small organization ...

Web 2.0 Training: Web 2.0 and Me!
http://nadinesweb20training.blogspot.com/2008/10/web-20-and-me.html
Friday, October 31, 2008. Web 20 and Me! So 20 is technollogy and customer service and the debate is which is more important (this is how I understand it). Overall, I agree to keep the customer needs in mind first and use what would be helpful in terms of technology. What does Web 2.0 mean for your non-profit? Power to the people. Two more powerful ways to cooperate. I think you are bang on the money. I don’t even have anything to add. I share your sentiments exactly. November 4, 2008 at 4:49 PM.

Monday, November 10, 2008. So this is one of those things that I didn't know existed online. :) I think it is great! For one- its free! Having to buy a microsoft office package can get very pricey and having the ability to access all those tools online for free is amazing! I love the fact that it feels almost exactly like using word! It has all the same features (ie: font colour, size, etc) and is easy to use. you don't really need to learn anything new to be able to start using it.

Wednesday, October 1, 2008. So from everything I have experienced over the web, I have to say these feeds are a pretty easy concept. It was super easy to create an account and to add feeds. I think that these could be extremely helpful in a variety of situations when it comes to keeping up to date and current. SO woohoo for feeds! I found that using bloglines search tool was the easist for me. I like the variety of different search options and the way they list the results. Have a good day! Web 20 and Me!
