Today was going to be my first official day commuting to work on the Black Hornet (my new name for the e-Brompton). Mother Nature put a damper on that plan - literally - with steady rain in the am in San Francisco. Tomorrow is another day. Weather forecast for tomorrow is much better. Fingers crossed. :). One more bike. One less car. One fun commute. First Day Commuting, pt. 2. Posted 3 years ago. Evenings are a bit busier on Caltrain. Also, the newer “Bombardier” trains don’t have a dedicated luggage car, but do have some space for folding bikes near the door (my Brompton is on the right). Lots more bike traffic back in the city. I’m seeing a lot of folding bikes of different varieties. Will definitely keep an eye on that. All in all though, first day was a success! Design by Simon Fletcher.
