Lover of this life. Thursday, May 9, 2013. Mt St Helens with Rick and The Brazilians! Rick is one of my most respected friends. He was the chair of my Doctoral Committee and basically, he stepped in when I was in a bad place and helped me finish my Ph.D. He is awesome, and wise and in quite good shape! He's a competitive cyclist and loves to bike in Europe. We decided to climb Mt. St. Helens last September and I thought I should post some pics of this action packed day. It was a perfect day for a climb.

I think I feel great, make plans, then forge on only to wake up the next morning feeling like I had been run over by a bus. It has still been less than a month since my surgery. Lover of this life. Tuesday, April 15, 2014. Trip to San Diego with Mom to check out Gerson Therapy. This was my first trip to San Diego. I loved it! We learned everything at this 3 day course. We learned how to make juice using a very expensive juicer, what toiletries and cleaning products to use, the dangers of metal fillings, what supplements the body needs to get healthy. Lover of this life. Sunday, January 6, 2013. Dad comes to Portland! Rather than having my Dad visit for my surgery, I asked him to come up when I was feeling better so we could spend more time together. I'm so glad I made this request because we had a wonderful time hanging out! We had a great trip to Silver Falls. We also managed to stop and see Angie jump horses in Wilsonville. I made a new friend. French pastries from Saint Honore Boulangerie. I ate 1/3 of mine and gave the rest away to a hungry mouth.

Lover of this life. Friday, June 1, 2012. Erica and I planned a ladies trip to the beach this year for Memorial Day. Our agenda included starting out the weekend with a long visit with two of our professors from OSU in Corvallis.
