Zo maar een training. Het is zondagochtend en het is nog stil buiten. Het heeft eindelijk een nacht geregend en hoewel het bewolkt is, begint de zon voorzichtig door te breken. Er hangt nog een beetje damp boven de velden. Het ruikt schoon buiten en alles ziet er fris uit. Het fluitekruid is uitgebloeid maar de zware zoet lucht hangt nog een beetje langs de vaart. Nu langzaamaan de techniek van het chi-runnen mij wat beter afgaat, vond ik dat het tijd wordt om ook naar schoenen toe te werken die meer geschikt zijn voor het landen op de middenvoet en die minder belast zijn met toeters en bellen.Afgelopen winter heb ik mijn voeten (lees: enkels en achillespezen) hier al een beetje op voorbereid door in huis doorgaans op blote voeten te lopen en door alle hakken te verbannen. Minder verschil tussen hiel en voorvoet? Misschien ook iets minder demping? Hoewel ik de VVF...

Soms lijkt het even alsof je al zoveel recepten hebt gezien en uitgewerkt dat er niet veel nieuws meer is te verwachten. Gelukkig keert het tij dan opeens en kom je onverwacht een heerlijk recept tegen waar je steeds overheen hebt gelezen. Dat zijn leuke verrassingen. Wie weet.bij ons is het in ieder geval al op. 3/4 theelepel instant gist. 1/2 eetlepel suiker (kan wat mij betreft weggelaten worden). 266 ml. water op kamertemperatuur. 1/4 theelepel instant gist. 85 gram bulgur (van de Turkse groenteman).

What did I do last summer. Mijn laatste bericht is al weer een behoorlijke tijd geleden. Nog eventjes en er zit een complete zomer tussen! Het was een heerlijke lange zomer en ik heb het gevoel dat ik er alles uit heb gehaald wat er uit te halen viel. Allereerst een heerlijk reis door Amerika waar we stil van verbazing waren toen we de enorme uitgestrekte prairies in Colorado en de Grand Canyon zagen. De zomer op haar einde. Misschien is dit wel de periode van het jaar waar ik het meest van geniet. Het licht verandert en krijgt een warme gouden gloed terwijl er een kruidige geur van de grond opstijgt. De kikkers zijn allang stil en daarvoor in de plaats hoor ik de ganzen in de lucht of het geklap van zwanenvleugels op het water. Nu overal is gemaaid, kan ik de fazanten weer zien en zo af en toe een egeltje dat al uitkijkt naar een geschikte plek voor als het echt kouder wordt. Links naar dit bericht.
