Compatsch ist einer der zwei Ortszonen der Seiser Alm. Compatsch liegt auf 1.860 m über dem Meer, die zweite Ortszone ist Saltria, auf 1.680 m über dem Meeresspiegel. Compatsch ist die touristisch mehr erschlossene Zone, es liegt am westlichen Rand des Plateaus und Saltria liegt im Osten direkt unterm Plattkofel.
