Complete & Unabridged: The Complete (and Unabridged) Jane Austen: Pride and Prejudice
http://completeandunabridged.blogspot.com/2008/11/complete-and-unabridged-jane-austen.html
I am a part of everything that I have read. Theodore Roosevelt. Tuesday, November 11, 2008. The Complete (and Unabridged) Jane Austen: Pride and Prejudice. There are few people whom I really love, and still fewer of whom I think well. The more I see of the world, the more am I dissatisfied with it; and everyday confirms my belief of the inconsistency of all human characters, and of the little dependence that can be placed on the appearance of either merit or sense.". Without a doubt,. Aah, those first im...

I am a part of everything that I have read. Theodore Roosevelt. Friday, March 14, 2014. 8220;Never shall I forget that night, the first night in camp, which has turned my life into one long night, seven times cursed and seven times sealed.Never shall I forget those moments which murdered my God and my soul and turned my dreams to dust. Never shall I forget these things, even if I am condemned to live as long as God Himself. Never.”. My Review (Caution - Spoilers):. And I, who believe that God is love, wh...
Complete & Unabridged: Welcome 2015
http://completeandunabridged.blogspot.com/2015/01/welcome-2015.html
I am a part of everything that I have read. Theodore Roosevelt. Thursday, January 1, 2015. Tess of the d'Urbervilles. And Then There Were None. By Marilynne Robinson. Of all of the modern writers that I have read, none has touched me quite like Marilynne Robinson. This is the third book in her Gilead. Series and it was everything that I hoped it would be. We get a look at the past of the series' most intriguing character, and we see how love and grace given freely can change a person's life forever.

Twisted Oak Farm: Schedule? What Schedule?
http://dailylifehomestead.blogspot.com/2012/02/schedule-what-schedule.html
Monday, February 13, 2012. Then we moved. And it all didn't just go slowly downhill. It dropped like a rock. My husband's parents were aging, his mom had had two strokes and was consequently disabled. His dad just couldn't work and keep up with the place, which included a 100-year-old house and 4 1/2 acres. So we bought it and they began to live with us. Since we don't use a dryer, the laundry schedule has also taken a direct hit from the rain. Etc, etc., etc. What have I learned through all of this?

http://dailylifehomestead.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
Monday, February 27, 2012. What's Been Happening on the Farm. Well, here we are at the last week of February and you might be wondering what's been happening here on the farm. A lot. A lot of wildly different stuff. So I figured today I would catch you up and maybe I can get back on track. From there Ray handled it, and passed on the word to me that the guy said that it was FULL! We are very fortunate that it didn't move over and begin to clog up our drain field. PS - We never did add on the the house.

Tech Review: Mock Mac Menu. This is for all my fellow tech-geeks out there). My personal battle between Mac and Windows has been raging since the beginning of the year. I am a traditional Windows user mainly because I grew up with it (what regular Joe in the nineties wanted a Mac anyway? My family started out with a Windows 95, and boy the excitement when we bought a Windows XP in 2002! First off it was backwards (or is Windows backwards? With a Windows 7 desktop by Dell. On it was a dock menu. Exactly w...

Twisted Oak Farm: July 2011
http://dailylifehomestead.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
Tuesday, July 26, 2011. Yesterday was like a sign from Yahweh that fall will indeed come. At least for the first part of the day it was cooler, there was a wind blowing, and the air felt much better. In the latter half of the day it did warm up but was cloudy and breezy. After Saturday and Sunday's 100 temperatures it was very welcome. The business side of life did well as I made quite a few sales. That always tends to brighten up things. May Yahweh bless you in this new day! Links to this post. Well, ou...

Twisted Oak Farm: Homestead Laundry
http://dailylifehomestead.blogspot.com/2012/08/good-morning-i-awoke-to-sound-of-rain.html
Wednesday, August 29, 2012. I awoke to the sound of rain.again. The last three weeks have been overcast and rainy, leading to a farm full of mud. Everything is muddy, even the sheltered livestock pens. The chicken yard, well, let's not talk about the chicken yard. I was thinking of replacing them with ducks anyway. That would suspend from my 12 foot ceilings and be lowered/raised by a pulley system for those items. But, until now, I've been able to get those things done and hung outside on a regular ...

The Complete and Total Loser
The Complete and Total Loser. Thoughts of an unsuccessful, never married, late middle-aged, likely terminally ill American man. Monday, March 19, 2018. Creepy as can be. When I was a boy, in the 1960s, a hypothetical question came up during a family chat. The question was, if you had cancer (which, at that time, nearly always meant you were going to die) would you want to know? Goya's "Saturn Devouring His Son.".
