1095 days until our country is saved. Just your usual political rantings. Saturday, November 13, 2004. Bracksy, Deliver Us From Evil. Of late, I've been feeling rather generous towards Steve Bracks. Has he been passing lots of good legislation recently? Steve, I'm clinging to you as a last resort. I know there's not much you can do as a Premier, but do your best. Please. Posted by R @ 2:37 AM. At November 13, 2004 at 4:59 AM. The next state election in Vic will be close, the "no tolls" stuff will help.

1095 days until our country is saved. Just your usual political rantings. Sunday, November 21, 2004. Ian Thorpe will now never read this blog. Hasn't read his new biography. According to the Age, he refuses to read anything written about him. That's.odd. I could understand not wanting to read articles or interviews, especially if you're prone to making a fool of yourself, but to not read your own biography? Which I wouldn't, as overrated sporting types bore me senseless. Posted by R @ 7:49 PM. Sailing Cl...

1095 days until our country is saved: US Election
http://1095days.blogspot.com/2004/11/us-election.html
1095 days until our country is saved. Just your usual political rantings. Thursday, November 04, 2004. So the world is turning to the right. I disagree with nearly everything the right holds dear. I'm scared. I'm scared the right will be in power forever, because people are terrified. I'm scared what it means about our values and priorities. I'm scared that I will never again see a politician in power who I don't actively hate. Posted by R @ 4:43 AM. At November 4, 2004 at 5:08 PM. What do *I* do now?

1095 days until our country is saved. Just your usual political rantings. Thursday, November 04, 2004. I don't hate Liberal voters. I don't hate Republican voters. One Nation, Citizens Electoral Council* *, Family First. I respect everyone's right to vote whichever way they want. That doesn't mean I'm not going to rant and scream about the state of the world. But am I allowed to say those guys are complete nutcases? WTF are they on? Posted by R @ 4:40 AM. Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Its not that hard.

1095 days until our country is saved. Just your usual political rantings. Saturday, October 30, 2004. The Third Annual Worldwide Press Freedom Index. Has found Australia to be ranked 41st in terms of press freedoms. FortyFirst. We are behind Bosnia and Herzegovina, South Africa, El Salvador, Israel (Israeli territory), and the United States. I think we may be the lowest ranked western nation, depending on your definition of 'western'. I find this appaling. As I've said before, only The Canberra Times.

1095 days until our country is saved. Just your usual political rantings. Tuesday, November 09, 2004. This is the very definition of stupidity. Federal Labor Leader Mark Latham will face critical scrutiny from caucus colleagues during the final three parliamentary sitting weeks of the year, with some predicting he could be replaced soon after Christmas. I was thinking of joining the ALP, but if they're going to replace Latham with bloody Beazley, then there's no way in hell that's going to happen. Mark h...

1095 days until our country is saved. Just your usual political rantings. Saturday, November 20, 2004. I think it is a reflection on my feelings on the world today that I read this. And thought "Schwarzenegger and Costello? That would be an improvement". They're both meant to be slightly more progressive, which isn't saying much. I'm trying to think of who would be worse. Cheeney / Abbott, perhaps? Posted by R @ 4:50 AM. Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. View my complete profile. This cartoon says it all.
