Sunday, May 27, 2012. Emily loves gymnastics. She did gymnastics and then we switched to dance to try that for a while, but she really wanted to go back to gymnastics. So we did! A few weeks into it, they had an opening in a class for Addy at the same time, so we decided to give it a try for her as well. Both girls loved it. After a few short months, they had their gymnastics showcase. Addy definitely has personality! Emily loves to pose for the camera! Addy learned lots of great skills in her class.

Wednesday, June 20, 2012. Happy 93rd Birthday Grandma Watt! In the same week that we buried one Grandma (Great-Grandma), another one turned 93. It's probably been a long time since Grandma Watt had this much family around to help her celebrate her birthday, so we did it in style with 2 cakes and lots of ice cream! Whether you are turning 1 or 93, our kids love to help you celebrate! Somehow at this party, my son ended up with a semi faux-hawk. I'm still trying to figure out how that happened!

I'm grateful for the influence she had on my husband and his family and for the great legacy that she left. Thankfully we were on the list and were able to help lay her to rest. Tuesday, January 24, 2012. Weekend at the Cabin. The weekend of Martin Luther King Jr. Day (or Equal Rights Day as it is known in Utah), the kids had a 4 day weekend. So, some friends of ours invited us and another family to go to their cabin for the weekend. They had fun things planned for the cold weather, like snowmobiling, but because there was no snow, we had to improvise.
