Welcoming HIM

Wednesday, January 21, 2015. In the year leading up to our meeting and adoption of Nate, the song “Never Gonna Leave Me Dry” by Cory Asbury held a special place in my heart. A part of the chorus stood out to me in particular:. 8230;”you fill us with your love. Overwhelm us with your love. Take us from the ashes. Seat us with princes. It’s what you do, it’s just what you do…”. Only I had it completely backwards. Tuesday, June 10, 2014. He has made everything beautiful in its time. Return home is July 12th!

Welcoming HIM: Meeting HIM!

http://www.completingthericheys.blogspot.com/2014/01/meeting-him.html

Monday, January 20, 2014. Sorry for the long delay between posts. Alot has been going on, namely, our trip in early January to meet Nate! We had hoped to chronicle our adventure of going to meet Nate on the blog in sort of a daily rundown of events and experiences, but strangely enough, our blog was a blocked website where we were staying during our visit, so we weren't able to make any posts. We were able to spend a good portion of the next four days with Nate, getting to know him, play with him, feed h...

http://www.completingthericheys.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html

Monday, July 15, 2013. Religion that God accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world." James 1:27. And it opened my eyes. Ironically, after a very in depth conversation about the exact same thing with Clay last night. Gotta love how God works when HE is trying to tell us something, right! Well We have 5 (4 round trip and 1 one way - praise God for that ONE WAY ticket! The list goes on. But, basically, I...

Monday, April 22, 2013. What a crazy weekend. The garage sale fundraiser was a huge success! Thank you to each and every one of you who donated goods, came out to help with set up/manage garage sale, and just stopped by to say hi! We are so blessed by your help! We made exactly what our goal was! Such an encouragement of God's faithfulness! That is no small chunk of change! Saturday at the garage sale, a family from our life group gave us a check for $200. What a blessing! Wednesday, April 17, 2013.

Wednesday, January 7, 2015. One drink at a time. Living in Colorado you understand the importance of water. It is really dry here and is at altitude. If you are not hydrated enough it can give you frequent headaches. Your skin also dries out. So Stay hydrated! I hope not. I know there are already places where it is happening. Methane, or chemicals from factories. It sucks that it is happening. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). One drink at a time. Boulder, Colorado, United States. View my complete profile.

Unfinished Business | Completing the journey for Burke & Wills 150 years on

Completing the journey for Burke and Wills 150 years on. Sunday 12 June The boys were literally flying along Burke and Wills Track. During the night a herd of cows came up to the fence beside our tents and at times it seemed like they were actually in the tents. But all was well and before long the Magpies were chortling away to wake us up. For the first time in ages we woke up to dry tents, still cold but dry. Distance for day: 38.5km Cumulative distance: 1436.3km. Monday 13 June Into the Cobaw forest.

Completing The Square

The Tin Drummer tries his hand at maths. Monday, 2 May 2011. I've been tidying and revising some of my older posts. Some errors have been corrected, some bad writing made less awful.
