Friday, October 30, 2015. Fall of 2015. It has a ring to it, like I can see myself saying *back in the fall of '15* one day.[shrugs] It feels like a time for many new beginnings, it feels like potential. Is in the air. But that's the frustrating thing about potential. It always feels like it's OUT there blowing around outside. For me to catch it, leaving my fate and destiny up to me. Scarring me with the fear of never catching enough. One thing that has surprised me this week is just how refreshing.

Tuesday, April 19, 2016. The Struggle is Real. Six months AFTER Nate and I broke up and he is STILL getting his. Crap out of my place. And seeing him in person still hurt like a mother. In the 7 years since my divorce, I have always. Felt like dating - even when nursing a broken heart. In fact, rebounds were good distractions. Sometimes it went well, and a lot of times not. But it was always interesting. And fun. But now I'm all like "meh.". Yet I mean, it's not like I'm going to settle. Happy on my own.

When I looked out at the boys running around in th front yard, it reminded me of the times I went to my Grandmothers house, all those years ago, (YES I CAN REMEMBER Back that far Girls! Yes, we were 'blessed' with a beautiful day. The weather yesterday was as great as it gets in Michigan. Not too hot, not too cold or windy. I think I did okay for Moms Day this year.
