Monday, September 10, 2012. Garrett asked for a camera for his birthday, and got one from my mom. He's forever taking random pictures around the house. Enjoy! Helicage (one of his favorite things). Monday, September 19, 2011. First Flag Football Practice. Garrett LOVED the first practice. Brad is coaching, and the kids range from 5-7 years of age on his team. They have a lot to learn, but it was so fun to watch! And sometimes, it actually looked like he knew what he was doing. Other times, it was just too fun to get to rip off Xander's flag, whether he was supposed to or not. And Brad didn't even seem to mind that it was 95 out, he did great with the kids. My Charmed Life in the Sea of Pink. Sunday, April 29, 2012. Friday, April 20, 2012. My theory was that we should release the butterflies back onto the neighbors' milkweed flowers where they were crawling around and growing as little caterpillars. What actually happened is that the first butterfly (the one that hatched yesterday) took off in a blaze of glory above the treetops before I could even get a good photo. That butterfly was READY TO FLY! Birth of the Second Butterfly. That blog post will follow.
