Com-Span is always looking for people to assist individuals in the following activities:. Novel studies and reading. Painting cards, bingo and other games. Current event activities such as reading the newspaper. Assisting with art projects. Providing companionship for community and in center based activities. Music and singing and playing instruments. Com-Span welcomes all individuals to share their time and talents. Volunteering provides a mutual and valued connect for everyone involved.

Daily physical activity is an important part of Com-Span’s program. Exercise programs are offered to all individuals in a large gym-like room. Adapted games such as hockey, volleyball, beanbag toss,. DVD workouts (Richard Simmons, Zumba, Line dancing). Com-Span uses the following exercise and safety equipment to provide a wide variety of safe and interesting physical activities for the individuals that access the program. Overhead Track System throughout the building, used with Voyageur brand lift.
