There and Back Again, An American's Tale. December 1, 2014. In Melbourne, Andrew, my friend and I decided to head to Phillips Island to check out some wildlife. About two hours southeast of Melbourne, we drove down Saturday. Morning. Past the concrete jungle, through the boring bits, past a couple of interesting things and ta da! Our first stop was the Phillips Island Wildlife Park. For a minimal $17 you can get entry into the park and a bag of feed. What for, you might ask? Phillips Island Wildlife Park.

There and Back Again, An American's Tale. November 5, 2014. So you knew it had to happen. I’m in Australia, I’ve gotta visit with some koalas and kangaroos. The strangest part of the visit was my trip to the loo. They had animal pooping noises and defecation facts over speakers in the toilet. There was a campaign to get people to switch to recycled toilet paper, led by the superhero Crapman. Oh yes, Crapman. Well, after all that, why don’t I just show you the adorable and cuddly animals? My awesome friend from college came to visit for a couple of weeks last month and we were very fortunate to get some super cheap flights out to Melbourne one weekend. And if you read my earlier post, you will know that a) I LOVE Melbourne and b) kinda sort love a handsome man living there. We ate in, and ate out. Andrew took us to his own burger joint that had amazing burgers! We stopped by the South Melbourne Market again.
