Domingo, noviembre 26, 2006. No longer a Thanksgiving virgin! Yesterday I had the good fortune to attend my first, and IESE's 18th annual Thanksgiving dinner. I had my reservations when I learnt that the tickets were a bit on the higher side than I expected, but eventually bowed down to peer pressure and bought one, so naturally my expectations were high. Got us started on some extremely delicious fare - soups, turkey, the works. Hopefully by next year, I should have a job in hand in order to up my bid.

We just had the final SMAP presentation to the professor, which means no more classes, cases, group meetings, powerpoint presentations, spreadsheets - - till I start working. I somehow got myself to study for the GMAT without giving much thought to how difficult it was going to be for me to get into the study mode again, so allow me to repeat what I've already stated - it's not easy! Quant is another story altogether. Inherently, I have something against probability, and guess what shows up in the very first lecture?

From as long as I can remember, we at the Asian Business Club (ABC) at IESE have been trying to organize an informal get-together. the objective being meeting all the members outside of school, to get to know people rather than purely network.
