Confessions of a father. The anecdotes of a “half time” father. Friday, November 21, 2008. Leily was born at 8.35 on the 2. She was 2 months premature, so she had to stay 5 weeks in the hospital. Now she is almost 6 months, (birth age) and almost 4 months (corrected age). The reason why I make the difference is because some of her milestones are counted from her birth age (weaning for example) and some others from her corrected age (holding head, or sitting). November 26, 2008 at 8:23 AM. Haha so cute :).

Confessions of a father. The anecdotes of a “half time” father. Monday, June 22, 2009. But not done…. We finished our “crazy schedule”, and Anisa is “officially” a lawyer. I’m back at work during the day, so I have “more” time…. There are many posts I didn't upload (products, a few rants, Leily’s time in the hospital, etc…) and will upload them one by one. Also, I will still post my experience as a father, even though I’m not a “full time” dad anymore…. Sorry for the delay :). Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Confessions of a father. The anecdotes of a “half time” father. Monday, January 19, 2009. And I’m back :). So, After two weeks of holidays, our first wedding as a “family” (as apposed to a couple), starting Leily on solids (which I have to say it’s A LOT more time consuming and messy than giving her milk 6 times a day) and a one week of “getting back to my routine”, I’m back. And this is my first confession, of the blog. Parenting is HARD, YES I said it. When is he going to have the time to keep a blog?

There are so many brands, and even though we are happy with what we are using, I wished someone would have told us the pros and cons. I can't speak for all of them, but I will give my opinion about the ones we have tried. They are the "simplest" bottles you can get. I call them the "standard" bottles. If you don't want anything fancy but still use a known and recognized brand, I recommend AVENT.

Monday, January 18, 2010. A little place called the U.S of A. America has always been one of the few countries that I NEVER thought I would EVER live in. Why? It just never appealed to me.but i guess God had really different plans for my family and I and so here we are. Mainly we left Jakarta so Armid could pursue his Masters in Public Health at Johns Hopkins University. So he's only got 1.5 months to go and before you know it, we'll have to make decisions on where to go next depending on job offers.

Saturday, February 6, 2010. The Blizzard of '10. We experienced one of the worst snow blizzards the state of Maryland. Has seen in decades on Friday and Saturday (6&7 Feb). In fact, the last time Baltimore had such a big snow storm was in 1920's! It was non stop snow fall and not your tame, beautiful snow fall but rather a blizzard like storm. Armid has the day off too but instead of being able to enjoy it, poor guy has to study! Below are a few pictures from a few hours after the snow storm subsided!

Tuesday, January 12, 2010. A little over six months ago, my family and I left Jakarta, Indonesia. To begin a new adventure in Baltimore, U.S of A! Below are a few pictures of our time in Indonesia.
