Candy Coated Memories: Remembering Gavin
http://candycoatedmemories.blogspot.com/2010/05/remembering-gavin_30.html
Sunday, May 30, 2010. We are connected,. My child and I, by. Not seen by the eye. It's not like the cord. That connects us 'til birth. This cord can't be seen. By any on Earth. This cord does it's work. Right from the start. It binds us together. Attached to my heart. I know that it's there. Though no one can see. From my child to me. The strength of this cord. Is hard to describe. It can't be destroyed. It can't be denied. It's stronger than any cord. It withstands the test. Can hold any weight.

Candy Coated Memories: October 2009
http://candycoatedmemories.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
Wednesday, October 7, 2009. Are we there yet? My mom and I took Caleb on his first road trip in the beginning of September. We drove to Alberta to attend 50th/60th milestone birthdays for my aunts and uncle. It was a great trip! So great to see most of my extended family and show off my "little man". The hardest part of the trip was leaving Bob at home. and to top it off we left on his and my 4th anniversary! The trip was great but coming back home was even better. On August 4, 2009 we welcomed baby Cale...

Candy Coated Memories: December 2009

Thursday, December 31, 2009. A Year In Review. Is it just me or does it seem like every year flies by faster than the one before? This year has been no exception. It seems like just yesterday I was anxiously awaiting the arrival of Caleb and now it's sometimes hard to imagine what life was like before he was born. Our house in late spring. The project for 2010 is finishing the yard. Trip to Las Vegas in April. 20th Anniversary BBQ in September for my parents business. Ho-Ho-Ho. Merry Christmas! The gifts...

Candy Coated Memories: March 2010
http://candycoatedmemories.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Wednesday, March 17, 2010. On Sunday, March 14, Bob and I had Caleb dedicated in church. Our church only does baby dedication every few months and there are so many parents wanting to dedicate their children that we've been on a waiting list since he was born. My dad took pictures of Caleb being dedicated but once we got home we discovered that "someone" .(Uncle Travis). took the memory card out of the camera and didn't put it back! Candy Coated Memories: November 2009
http://candycoatedmemories.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Wednesday, November 25, 2009. 25 Beautiful Short Phrases. I came across these phrases and thought they were cleverly relevant. Give God what's right, not what's left. An's way leads to hopeless end, God's way leads to an endless hope. A lot of kneeling will keep you in good standing. He who kneels before God can stand before anyone. In the sentence of life, the devil may be a comma, but never let him be the period. Don't put a question mark where God puts a period. Are you wrinkled with burden? Caleb was...

Candy Coated Memories: Making up for lost time...
http://candycoatedmemories.blogspot.com/2010/05/making-up-for-lost-time.html
Monday, May 24, 2010. Making up for lost time. So it would appear as if I've been "slacking" off when it comes to updating my blog, however, having a near 10-month old baby who's now crawling around my house means I've been doing anything and everything BUT slacking off! I've hopefully made up for it by spending the last few hours adding multiple posts so now you should be caught up on the events of the past couple months. Here are some of my favorite random pics from the past few months.

Candy Coated Memories: February 2010
http://candycoatedmemories.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Sunday, February 28, 2010. We, along with probably the majority of Canada, watched the Canadian Men's Hockey Team win GOLD! This afternoon. I never had any doubt that our team would make it to the end and bring, or should I say KEEP the gold in Canada. Why was I so convinced? Well I guess my reason is a little bias but it was Caleb's first Olympics and it wasn't going to go any other way. I got us all Canada Olympic Wear and we wore it proudly today as we cheered our team to victory. Wheres the time gone?
