The food was yummy, but we'll be glad to eat something other than hot dogs and hamburgers :) Rachel had fun at the fireworks, she loved them! She clapped and squealed with delight. Tuesday, October 26, 2010. Rachel has always been a good sleeper, from the very beginning. In fact, the second night we were home as a family we woke up panicked because she had slept for 6 1/2 hours! She was just fine, a little upset for waking her up! We love our family time as she winds down and drinks her milk. She is very affectionate and loves sitting or playing with us. Look Mom, no hands! Her hair is getting curly in the back. Rachel loves to run laps around the first floor of our house. She is always on the go. What happy child she is, always full of smiles. Wednesday, July 13, 2011. This easter Rachel learned how to egg hunt. We practiced in our home the week before and she loved playing the game. She would cry when it was over and we took her egg basket! She did great at the church egg hunt, though she wasn't very fast in her approach. Sunday, June 27, 2010. This year we loved celebrating Mother's/Father's Day. We thank God for Rachel and the blessing she is to us. Rachel loves the water! She has gone swimming a few times in Amy's parent's hot tub, which is cooled down for the summer. She loves the waterfall, and has no fear when she dives her head into the water. She has gotten dunked a few times and has learned to close her eyes and mouth before going under! Maybe next summer we'll join a pool! Rachel is very fast and is getting into...

Monday, April 26, 2010. Now that the weather has been so nice, we went out to the Duck Pond for a family walk. Amy used to go there when she was younger while visiting her grandparents. She caught a few turtles there back in the day. Rachel loves being outside, but is still getting used to the idea of wearing a hat! Where have the last 7 months gone? Rachel is growing up so fast these days. She has learned to crawl and loves getting into mischief! After playing hard in her new playpen. Head: 17 3/4 in 95%.
