Chronic Geek: 8-bit Allergy Fighter
http://chronicgeek.blogspot.com/2012/09/8-bit-allergy-fighter.html
Friday, September 7, 2012. Chronic Geek isn't just a silly name for my blog, as I've written about from time to time I have a number of long-term health problems that greatly impact my life. Managing my health is a full-time job and my love of gaming, comic books, sci-fi and the like helps me as a distraction and sanity saver. I've also found a lot of welcoming and understanding in the geeky community. Over the past two years one of my health problems that had formerly been under control went wild! So, t...

Chronic Geek: Time and Space Bridal Shower & Contest!
http://chronicgeek.blogspot.com/2011/07/time-and-space-bridal-shower-contest.html
Sunday, July 10, 2011. Time and Space Bridal Shower and Contest! Thanks for the good wishes about my bad news post yesterday. I think it was important for me to get that off my chest and get back into blogging with an honest start. As the afternoon progressed we filled out a 2-page document that would be used to generate a custom RPG about the bride and groom. When the presents were open your sheet was used to fill out an ongoing story about the bride fighting her way across the world. At one poi...Hey, ...

Chronic Geek: Beautiful Geeky Wedding!
http://chronicgeek.blogspot.com/2012/08/beautiful-geeky-wedding.html
Monday, August 13, 2012. We had a fantastic weekend! The greatest highlight was our friends' beautiful civil union ceremony. I wish marriage was legal across the United States for everyone, but I'm glad our state has civil unions in the meantime. So, how cool was this wedding? Well, the vows mentioned Adventure Time and zombies. Yes, they were also heartfelt and moving, but I loved that all the deep emotion was tempered with a glorious sense of humour. I laughed. I cried. Check These Posts Out. Simple te...

Chronic Geek: Remember the Skyrim Relase?
http://chronicgeek.blogspot.com/2012/08/remember-skyrim-relase.html
Wednesday, August 29, 2012. Remember the Skyrim Relase? The night in question. I was ready for action! During the release of Skyrim I had the great pleasure of running a modified Pathfinder style game. One of the managers at Gamestop asked me if I knew anyone who could run a game and I said, "Yes, me! By the way, the players included 2 old hats and 2 n00bs. It was a great combo actually. What do you want! Why are you strangers here? Wizard, "We want to see your wife! She is indeed gorgeous! Hahahahah....

Chronic Geek: Always Looking Ahead
http://chronicgeek.blogspot.com/2010/05/always-looking-ahead.html
Wednesday, May 5, 2010. Yesterday I reserved a copy of Lego Harry Potter for the Wii and bought advance tickets for a friend of mine (Master Justice) to see the midnight showing of Iron Man 2 with me. Today aside from picking up a few titles I set up a subscription at Castle Perilous (the ultimate geektastic store) for Birds of Prey and Zatanna. It doesn't hurt that a lot of this stuff costs money, which reminds me to budget). To infinity and beyond! Labels: Birds of Prey. Check These Posts Out.

Chronic Geek: 8-bit with Perler Beads
http://chronicgeek.blogspot.com/2010/04/8-bit-with-perler-beads.html
Thursday, April 29, 2010. 8-bit with Perler Beads. Anyone who frequents video game blogs has probably seen the 8-bit bead sprites made with a variety of medium including perler beads. I will confess I have never used perler beads before, but I really wanted to try it out. The first two creations are below. The heart turned out a bit better because it was the second run and I got a better hang of how much pressure to use when ironing the beads together. Irons and I are not friends. Chronic Geek: Pathfinder: Carrion Crown
http://chronicgeek.blogspot.com/2011/07/pathfinder-carrion-crown.html
Monday, July 11, 2011. Game is on a break. We finished the first book and I have never been so satisfied by a gaming experience. It was perfect. In fact, the path we just finished The Haunting of Harrowstone. Is up for an ENnie. I hope it wins! Our gaming group will be at the ENnies again this year and I'm looking forward to it. Last year it was so much fun hearing from the RPG industry speakers and meeting some of the writers/creators of the products I love. July 14, 2011 at 9:52 AM. Game Like A Girl.

Chronic Geek: It's Fishnet Friday
http://chronicgeek.blogspot.com/2010/05/its-fishnet-friday.html
Friday, May 7, 2010. Zatanna's Ame-Comi incarnation is the focus of today's Fishnet Friday. This is the first Ame-Comi statue I have purchased and I am pleased with the quality of the sculpt and the attention to detail. Her fishnets are actual fabric and add a nice touch to the overall look of the statue. She can watch over me while I read her new series! May 7, 2010 at 8:57 PM. She looks weird as an anime character. May 7, 2010 at 10:33 PM. Captain Osmotic you fiend! May 8, 2010 at 11:10 AM.
