A Community Interest Company. Company No. 7978653. Coniston is an old mining village and retains many of the characteristics of self-help and strong community spirit of such villages. In 2006 a Housing Needs Survey demonstrated a proven need for 66 affordable homes in the village. This started an energetic community-led campaign to meet this requirement.
