Actor, Bookworm, Instructor, Blogger. Philip Roth, The Humbling. Really need to stop buying books on impulse. Not that I need to deliberate for weeks and fill a special jar labeled "next book money," but two days ago when I walked into the Bookworm. In West Omaha the first title that jumped at me (actually it was the humongous "ROTH" printed above the title) I removed from the rack and stuck it under my arm, and there it stayed until I laid it on the checkout counter. Anyway, The Humbling. Snobbishness t...

Actor, Bookworm, Instructor, Blogger. Most stories have a hero who finds. You make your past your past.". Joshua Radin, "Brand New Day". Granted, not all teens leave their summer jobs in the fall, but most do. I guess that's all some people want in life, but I never want people to say or think that of me. I think that's what people originally meant by saying that someone was "going places.". I think a lot of people know they live in a free country but don't live free lives. They don't go places. ...Rehea...

During that day, it became more and more apparent that no one was planning to attend the concert. Our best singers were performing in front of thousands of people, and maybe none of their teachers would be there. I should also mention that a lot of these kids' classmates came, too. Actor, Bookworm, Instructor, Blogger. Mr Wilder, why do you write? I think I write in order to discover on my shelf a new book that I would enjoy reading, or to see a new play that would engross me. Actor, Bookworm, Instructor, Blogger. Are you waiting for lightning,. A sign that it's time for a change? Steven Curtis Chapman, "Waiting for Lightning". Some quick words before rehearsal:. Been trying to exercise daily. Like my pregnant co-worker, it's not yet showing, but I am feeling more energized on a regular basis, even though I wake up two hours earlier and do a lot more.
