Sunday, July 30, 2006. Evan's Party #2 - Lethbridge. Evan enjoys a spoon full of the whipped cream that Grandma Terry was putting on the angel's food cake. We had Evan's second birthday party at my mom's house Thursday evening. He'll soon be spending most of his days there when I go back to work (August 8th). Mhari (and Donna) enjoying a belated birthday present from Scott and I. They brought over a great gift for Evan (again one of those great sound producing gifts, in this case a mega blocks farm).

Sunday, October 22, 2006. Evan is wearing a bunny toque that belonged to Jada Bartlett. This was just a day before I left my guys for a weekend with the girls in Waterton. The Chicks retreat was awesome! There will be news posted soon on the blog (www.gatechicks.blogspot.com). Evan decided to climb up on a chair and sit up like a big boy while he watched me clean the kitchen. Of course, I had to stop and play with him instead. Posted by M's @ 10:05 PM. Wednesday, January 17, 2007. My handsome gentlemen, sharing a little sugar before bed. The sweetest little boy smile in the universe, to me anyway. Our son likes to "sing" while he drums. It comes out as a long and very loud yell - a little more in line with his Welsh and Scots ancestors (or Irish, French, English, Danish - we are true mongrels after all). His teeth to date - he's quite filled out in front with a few in the sides as well. He posed just for me! Posted by M's @ 12:44 AM. First Pics of 2007!

Friday, September 29, 2006. We had such a fun evening with Evan tonight! Sorry, no pictures, batteries charging). He just gets brighter and brighter, figures out more stuff, does more stuff. He is insatiable when it comes to drumming. He walked around almost the whole evening with two markers and made beats on all kinds of objects. We went for a bike ride to the park, played on the swings, showed him the moon. it was lots of fun! Posted by M's @ 10:50 PM. Thursday, September 28, 2006. Evan takes another ...

Wednesday, May 31, 2006. Cute Pics in October. Out cold on Great-Grandma's lap! Evan and my cousin Marianne are great friends! Grandmas are great for making babies laugh! The suspense of "The Tooth Book" has Evan riveted, who else has teeth? He's an avid reader already - remind you all of anyone? Turn off the game! Dad Dad. Dad? Posted by M's @ 10:12 AM. Tuesday, May 30, 2006. Pics in BC with Dad's Camera. And of course the panicked look on Grampa Rick's face comes standard. What cutie pies! A couple of ...

Wednesday, December 27, 2006. This is my smuggest "I get to hand out the presents" face. I don't know why I want that job more than all others, maybe its my impatient and diligent (ha! Nature. I just don't like waiting around for presents, I'd rather be in charge of the situation - calling the shots so to speak. Notice I wore camouflage to better protect my position. It made it easy for me to sidle up to the tree before anyone knew I was coming. One of the few non-Evan shots. That's my dad and my sis...

Wednesday, November 22, 2006. Playing with the toothbrush is infinitely more fun than actually brushing your teeth, at least that's what Evan thinks. I like to delude myself into believing that, as long as that toothbrush finds its way into his mouth, it's probably doing some good. Seriously though, he's getting pretty good at the toothbrushing thing. Of course, you can't brush your teeth without the stroller - what if the toothbrush needs a ride somewhere? Evan and I goofing off, he loves a good tickle.

Friday, June 30, 2006. Our Last Day in Victoria. Evan and I on pebble beach. I named it pebble beach. I don't actually know what it's called. Evan and I walked around Beacon Hill Park again today. We discovered a mother duck and three ducklings sleeping under this tree. Scott and Evan at beach #1 for the day. We stopped for a bit on the way back to Victoria from Pearson. Scott stayed at Pearson last night. So Evan and I enjoyed an evening and this morning together. Evan likes to chase crows. Evan on the ...

Sunday, August 27, 2006. Don't let that cute smile fool you, Scott is in a lot of pain right now. We spent over 3 hours at the ER tonight, and all they did was prescribe a bunch of pain killers, anti-inflammatory and that sort of thing, which haven't done much to help yet. He's got some serious back pain going on. Long term strategies include heading back to the gym, back exercises and some professional chiropractic help. Posted by M's @ 9:53 PM.
