About Me & SAS. April 19, 2014. Day 1 – Oceanography Field Lab. You’d think that for an oceanography field lab that you would look at the ocean. Wrong! Day 2 – Table Mountain. We eventually made it to the cable car location. They had a little café and shop at the top. We went down the 1910 cable car. Day 3 – SAS program begins: Botlierskop Game Reserve. Day 4 – Botlierskop Game Reserve: Elephant Ride. Day 5 – Botlierskop Game Reserve: Last day. They packed a bagged lunch, and we drove back to the ship.

About Me & SAS. February 27, 2014. Day 1 – Botanical Gardens and Night Safari. English is one of the four official languages of Singapore, which was a relief. After going to the previous countries, I really appreciate being able to read the signs. Singapore is the second largest port in the world, so we saw hundreds of ships on the way to the dock. We had a few hours to spare, so we walked around, looking for souvenir shops. There were none, but we did find a giant snowman. Day 2 – Jurong Bird Park.
