Personal Energy Management: Left or Right?
http://yourenergy.blogspot.com/2011/01/left-or-right.html
What made them different was the way their brains were wired. Ravi’s left-brain was dominant and Rakesh’s right. If you analyse your personality, you will be able to identify with the Ravis or Rakeshs of the world. Having said that, it is important to know which side of your brain is dominant and what kind of a person you are. Have you observed how Hindus pray to Lord Ganpati? The traditional explanation to this ritual is as mentioned – “asking forgiveness for the sins committed.” B...For energizing and ...

Energy tips for students. I spoke on Radio Mirchi – an FM radio channel in Mumbai – yesterday giving energy tips for students appearing for their 12. Grade examinations. Though I had prepared 7 tips, not all could be included due to paucity of time. However, I thought I could put them here and hope it will help any student reading this. Here are some tips that a student could follow. All these are aimed at getting the energy to flow again, and once that is done, then to increase their energy levels.

Personal Energy Management: Crisis at 25
http://yourenergy.blogspot.com/2011/01/crisis-at-25.html
A few days back, my 25 year-old colleague came over to talk. She was feeling low, not because her work was not enjoyable, but because she was faced with a more serious question: she felt aimless in life. She wanted to know whether she is headed in any direction at all, and what will she get at the end of her rainbow. Is there an energy solution to my colleague’s situation? This holds true with all situations: a bride entering her sasural for the first time; the first day of a new employee; a student̵...

How well do you manage your space. We react to space typically: there is ‘your space’ and there is space that’s ‘not yours’. Check out parking lots and you will get the distinction clear – “That’s my parking space. You stick to yours”. Sounds familiar? Territorial behaviour has ruled living beings since eons. Not only humans, it is common knowledge that the animal and insect kingdoms function on territorial basis as well. But the fact remains; do we own space at all? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). To know d...

Lose control to gain control. All around us, we see people striving to gain control. The trust vote, the politics in parliament, the terror attacks – all attempts at gaining control. Parents try their best to control their kids, trying to prolong the day when they know their kids will stop being under their control. It’s a very tricky proposition: when should one lose control and when should one retain it. The strategy that works best in today’s times at least, is to lose control to gain control. Think a...

Morphogenic fields at work in Egypt. Have you been observing the convulsing energy patterns across the Arab world? Are you amazed and shocked at the same time, that an uprising that started in Tunisia travelled across the region to start similar uprisings in other areas? Have you wondered how this kind of phenomenon happens? What made them different was the way their brains were wired. Ravi’s left-brain was dominant and Rakesh’s right. Have you noticed how a garbage mound gets formed on the footpath?

The knack of getting into trouble. Why do drug addicts hang around with fellow drug addicts? Why do spiritual satsang-attendees hang around with similar-minded people? What is the Page 3 culture all about with everybody who’s part of it talking about dress, stress and less? Why do some people attract wealth wherever they go and whatever they do? Why do we find ourselves sometimes thinking the same thought throughout the week or month? The answer lies in an oft-repeated and randomly-used word: frequency.

The power of duplication. Every parent is conscious about how they raise their children. Upbringing, after all, has become so complicated nowadays. What makes it tougher is the social norm that the parents and their upbringing mechanics are to be blamed if their child misbehaves! The question therefore arises, how should one raise a child? It is simple, she said. Your child will imitate you. The world functions on the power of duplication. Einstein called it the eighth wonder of the world! Repetition inc...
