My Corner of Connecticut. Tuesday, August 29, 2006. One of the joys of officership is having Vacation Bible School. Yes, I did say joys! Sure it provides for long days in the van, preparing meals, cleaning up more than usual, but the joy is seeing young children get their foot in the door of a church and meet Christ for the fist time. Well, after a few months, we started a Supper Club, and the three kids soon turned into 25. Not a bad turnaround in 3 months! I was starting to have memories of Sanford!

As I sit here and watch David Ortiz continue to kill the Yankees, I can only imagine what the scene is in the family room at a certain address in Erie, Pennsylvania. Tonight's topic is Tracy. Tracy is my dear sister. She never ceases to amaze me. I was nearly 12 years old when she was born, and a junior in high school when she started kindergarten. Fortunately, I lived at home until I was 22, and got to be around for most of Tracy's childhood. I love ya sis!
