The morning started off great with a foot long fish on the 3rd cast from the dock! Later, senkos and tubes produced good 14-18″ bass. Rhett landed an awesome 2.8 lb bass deeper out, on a green senko. Roe Boat Fishing Report. Bass, Trout, and where they are bitting in CT. Ball pond fishing report, 6/21/11. June 21, 2011. Weather: sunny 65 -70. First two casts brought in a 2.6 and 2.8 lb bass! The sun was not up, it was still dark. We used purple senkos. As the day progressed we continued to catch fish on spinnerbaits, and green senkos. Totaled 13 Bass, lots of good 14″ fish. Whoever said hot summer fishing is a bust was just looking for an excuse to stay in the a/c. This was one of the most productive days so far! My 9yo nephew landed his personal best 2.45LB LMB and I landed a very lively 17″ who put up quite the fight, jumping wildly all over the place. So what was the hot ticket? Biggest bass all year!
