Tuesday, August 16, 2011. We had some unexpected visitors show up at the house this afternoon. A mother bear and two cubs. They all made their way up into our apple tree for an afternoon snack. We have been here almost 4 1/2 years and have never seen any in our yard. We knew they were around. Now we have proof! Mother bear standing to get an apple. Mother bear in the tree looking out. Friday, December 25, 2009. Snow Storm of 2009. We had 23 inches of snow on December 18th - 19th. Grace, Emma and Maggie heading up the hill. Checking on the bunnies. Search for the perfect tree. We made our way to Grouse Ridge Christmas Tree Farm to find the perfect tree. Emma and Maggie find a tree that is a little too small. We have found the tree. Emma taking her turn cutting the tree. Thursday, February 24, 2011. Pictures of Lucy Mae. Lucy's first tea party of many with Maggie. Yep, red hair and blue eyes. She has just found her toes. Jeff and Sylvia Case. Im so glad to see pictures of her! Shes ADORABLE and I cant wait to see her again. Its amazing how much shes grown since I saw her just after Thanksgiving! February 25, 2011 at 8:00 AM. I cant believe how big Lucys getting! She looks like a happy baby, and Im sure she gets to enjoy lots of activity with all her siblings. :-).

Saturday, April 30, 2011. This was today's project. A playset with a slide for the kids. I had picked up the slide from the dump about 6 months (maybe longer! Ago and thought I could build something for the little ones to play on. I also made it with the intention when we move I can transport it. They have already enjoyed a lot of playtime on it. They all helped with various parts whether it was holding boards or handing me screws. It was quite fun to design and build. May 16, 2011 at 6:10 PM.

Tuesday, April 19, 2011. Pictures from North Carolina Trip. We traveled to Pinehurst, NC for the viewing and funeral of Naomi's grandmother Eleanor Enlow. It was a sweet time visiting with family that we hadn't seen in a long, long time. Too long as a matter of fact! Here are some pictures from the trip. Maggie and her new friend (and cousin) Chloe. Thursday, October 21, 2010. Lucy Mae is Here! Well, it's been a long 9 months. (at least for Nomie! Lucy Mae Schneider was born on Thursday October 14, 2010 at 4:47pm. She was 8lbs 11 oz and 22 inches long. She has some very happy sisters and a brother who always want to hold her. After 2 days in the hospital treating a high bilirubin (sp?
