Monday, June 22, 2015. Pond Life to Salt Life. I know, I don't write. Ever. So, I don't think many of you will see this which is why I am posting it all :). When we bought our home in SC we saw it for maybe 20 minutes, I wasn't overly impressed, but we liked the pond, the open floor plan and the price tag. We took a leap of faith, which at times seemed like a BIG mistake but God always works everything out, am I right? And boy has He, but that is another post. All photos are the before and then after!

Friday, May 18, 2012. While I took my cake decorating class, Isaac's office ate most of my projects. Today is the company's "quadrennial" party at the boss' house and he asked me to make one of my cakes. Isaac said he asked for a Ninja cake. Tuesday, July 17, 2012. A Need to Knead. As Eli snoozed, I have been prepping for dinner- BBQ chicken pizza. We love pizza and typically have it a couple of Friday's a month but lately we have been ordering out more than in. I found a recipe and in typical fashion altered it a bit to fit what I had in my pantry. I had no idea that as I worked that dough that tension would release in my back and shoulders! Cin, Cin, and bon appetit! Pizza Dough (Makes 3). 1 1/2 cups warm water. 3 cups all purpose flour.

Saturday, May 4, 2013. 1 9" pie crust. 1 C light corn syrup. 6 T melted butter (unsalted). 1/4 C brown sugar (light or dark depending on your preference or what is in your pantry.). 3 (liberal) T of bourbon (Makers makes the best for pies in my opinion! 1 T All purpose flour. 1 T vanilla extract. 1 C chopped pecans. 1 C semisweet chocolate chips.
