Sunday, January 28, 2018. Once again I did the BOM at the Granary, this time BOW Diddley, which I modified a bit (setting) and got done just after Christmas. It is a large quilt, almost 100" square, and took a while to quilt on my Bernina 765. I found some inspiring quilt motifs at The Inbox Jaunt. Wednesday, May 3, 2017. Quilted in an allover design on my DMS. Labels: Farm Girl Vintage. Last year was travel, this year, not so much. To see different things coming and going. The Arabic Lattice (above).

Sunday, January 19, 2014. This was the mid-month knit-along, a design by Sharon Hoyt - Garter Striped Chevron dishcloth. It is also available on Ravelry. It will probably be a gift at some point. I added a pattern repeat within each larger repeat to lengthen the dishcloth a bit, mostly because I did on the first repeat, and just kept it even after that. Monday, May 27, 2013. Grandmother's Choice BOWs 38 and 39. BOW 38 is Nonsense, and BOW 39 is Endless Stairs. Shipshewana Sampler section 2. Another section assigned and completed. Out to Sea progress. Sunday, May 12, 2013. Grandmother's Choice BOW 36 and 37. BOW 36 is the Sunbonnet Baby. My little bit of rebellion is the bird tattoo on her shoulder. BOW 37 is the Nameless Star, one of my favorite blocks, or at least one I have made more than any other. I usually call it the sawtooth star. I Design in EQ7.

Sunday, January 5, 2014. With the demise of several of my dishcloths due to serrated knife damage, I am getting back into the dishcloth mode. Although only one of these will actually wash dishes (and hopefully not knives). The first one of 2014 was a cloth from the Yahoo group monthly KAL, January 1st version of a Snowman. Sunday, November 17, 2013. Piecing square in a square units into a block: G-4 Massachusetts. I chose to make my Massachusetts blocks with Marti Michell templates (A3 for the diagonal square and A6 for the corner units of HSTS). This made it very easy to pick the way I want to press my seams and to align the triangles to the squares. Blue Birds hard at work! I caught these shots of a pair of Eastern Blue Birds the other day. They seem to be hard at work on a nest in the corner eve of our car port. They were flying from the fence to the edge of the car port. There is an open area right below the roof where they are making their home this year.

I'll try working on it tonight after school. This weekend though me and Patrick did a dine about at Epic Roasthouse. I totally forgot to take pictures at seasons so to make up for it I took a ton of pictures at Epic. Only I did the dine about Patrick got their burger because the waiter said it was super yummy.
