A great WordPress.com site. How it all began…. What we’ve done so far! We started in New Zealand. And spent 2.5 months. We volunteered on a total of 4 farms with WWOOF, and also did a ton of trekking on New Zealand’s “Great Walks”. Then onward and upward to Southeast Asia. We did consider Antarctica. But as we researched Antarctica we learned it is only accessible to tourists from November. I’m not so sure if I’d arrive by ship, as most dangers occur by storms at sea! We had a 5 day stop over in Singapore.

It wasn’t until the next morning when we walked out to breakfast (perhaps brunch) that we saw the magnificent surrounding peaks of Table Mountain and Lion’s Head. Yes! Friday, November 2, 2012. To say Connor and Layla were excited about Halloween this year is an understatement! I gave her 1 week to change her mind, then that was it, after 1 week she was still set, so Mommy ordered the costume. A few days later she exclaimed (while twirling around) "I want to be a beautiful ballerina." Mommy said "too bad, your Super Girl" hehe. I think she would have changed her mind a million times had we let her. It was definitely an October to remember! With the finished products!
