Well, I am not sure why I have been off of my blog page recently. I guess life has been sooo busy and my ideas of simplifying our life included cutting out our blog page. I will try to be better at posting pictures and include this blog back into my schedule. Here are a few highlights of the past month.

Monday, August 29, 2011. I'm letting myself off the hook for the remainder of the year for the blog. My intention is to restart in the new year. I'm not sure why, but this year, more than any other that I can recall (although my memory seems to have been sucked away by having kids) seems busier and has passed me by quicker than previous years. We only had a slight thunder storm, but other than that things went quite smoothly. Oh, the bugs were really bad but we found creative ways to swish them away. Monday, January 07, 2013. Still trying to catch up. Here are the big events (that I can recall) from November. Also known as the Women's Wellness Weekend at Camp Orkila. So much fun with two of my very good college friends, Lori and Lisa. Such a beautiful camp setting on Orcas Island. Camp wouldn't be complete without arts and crafts! I made lip balm, decoupage boxes, beaded earrings and tons of shrinky dinks. Yes, shrinky dinks! I love craft therapy. It makes me happy. All set to zip! Be My FB Friend.

Friday, January 06, 2012. Well, not completely overwhelmed, but certainly not up to speed. So, here are some recent developments:. Kyla went skiing for the first time at Mission Ridge. Apparently there were a few spills, but she was smiling the whole time. And she went ice skating for the first time, which she also loved. She's our little adventurer. Sunday, February 05, 2012. Getting Our Groove Back. Wow, January is over! Since feeling like I was behind at the beginning of January, the rest of the month has flown by just as quickly.
