A blog about what goes on with the Connors family. Scott, Crystal, Dylan, and baby Austin. 8 Month Mr. Trouble. Celebrating 8 months was tough today because Austin got his first tooth. I've been thinking it has been coming for some time now and today the bottom left tooth poked through. It is a milestone that is good, but it was painful as well. Austin's new nickname is "Trouble." UNM Duckpond Egg Hunt on Saturday Morning. Dylan was so excited to see the Easter bunny. He even wrapped up a carrot to bring to him. We saw the bunny first thing and he handed him the carrot. Then he would not go close enough to get a picture. Austin wasn't to keen on the bunny either as you can see in this picture.

I wanted to keep track of some of Dylan's favorite things and the most memorable things Dylan enjoyed, did, and said while he was three. Food: Cereal, the kind I like (Oatmeal Squares), Dino Chickens. Drink: Smoothies as a snack, milk with dinner. Restaurant: Sweet Tomatoes and Chick-fil-A. Toys: Dinosaurs, Dragons and Cars. Movies: Cars 2, How to Train a Dragon. Books: Any Dino Book.

Austin is now 26 pounds and 31.5 inches long, well tall really, now that he is standing up most of the time. Our Little Monkey Excited For His Birthday Party. Jungle Cupcakes Scott and I created for his Big Day! Taking his new trike from Nani and Pops for a test drive. Oh my gosh.those cupcakes might be THE cutest things I have ever seen!

Alyssa has been all smiles lately! She usually smiles so big that she closes her eyes. Lately she has been really close to laughing. She contiues to be a wonderful baby. We are having fun watching her personality grow. She is still sleeping great and eating even better! Lounging around and watching TV.

We had a great first Christmas with Alyssa! She is growing so big and the changes she is making are incredible. In the last week she has become a pro at sitting up on her own. She loves to play with toys and hang out. She is an independent girl! Ok, could this pouty face be any cuter? Cracking up in her bunny hat.

Thanksgiving in Waco with the Caprons. The family took over and made Thanksgiving dinner and other meals for us. They also managed to be sweet about having to listen to my coughing all week long. I haven't been that sick in a very long time. It was a good exercise for me in not being able to always have control in a situation! Now on to the fun stuff. I still managed to take some pictures of the different things we did together! The boys and dads went to a rainy Baylor game. They had a great time!

For the past 3 summers, our kids have done swim lessons at the YMCA. We have loved having various friends in the same classes with us each year. It is just so special to have these memories with friends and to see how our kids have grown from year to year! Abby enjoyed swim lessons, but she is still quite nervous about putting her face in the water. This and That in June. VBS 2014: We were thrilled to have the Sieverts join us in Waco for our church's VBS this year. Luke and Abby are taking a gymnastics class this summer. They both had a great time on the first day of class, and I was happy that Luke gladly participated in each activity. Some Yellow Crowned Night Herons made a nest in a tree in our front yard. Wednesday, 1 October 2014. So, remember the last post I did saying I would be away? Well I just got back from Melbourne. It was really cool, first we had to get up at 3:00 AM in the morning. Then after that we had to drive twenty six hours! So we drove 8-10 hours a day. So enough of that boring stuff. So on the trip we did a whole load of things. We went to the Melbourne Gaol, that's the way jail was spelt way back in time. We also went the the Melbourne Aquarium and zoo, Polly Woodside, which is a ship.

We did a Cars pull string Pinata. I was nervous that the 1st person would pick the right string to open the candy and no one else would get a turn, but it worked out great.
