Tuesday, December 31, 2013. We had a wonderful pre-Christmas dinner with our good friends and the kiddos. We really missed our SB family while we were away last year and Connor especially missed his buddies. So we were thrilled to be home to celebrate with friends. Monday, April 27, 2015. Connor started his birthday celebration on Friday with a special ice cream treat at school with his class. Then a quick playdate at an old friends house the home to watch a movie and eat pizza per his request. Saturday April 25 the real birthday, he started the day running a 5K charity race at UCSB with Dad. Good jobs boys. Then a bowling party at Zodo's with his buddies. Sunday, May 17, 2015. Thank you to my sweet sweet family for making me feel special and loved on Mother's Day. Thursday we kicked off Mother's Day with a very special celebration at Jess' school. Ronda and I got to share our special celebration together :). Then sleeping in late and waking up to breakfast in bed and opening gifts was a very nice start to a wonderful day. The people that make me a mom. Then Chris and I left the kids with a sitter and spent the afternoon sipping cocktails by the sea.

Wednesday, May 13, 2015. A visit with Grandma and a quick trip to Vegas. Grandma came down and spent a week with us in SB. It was so wonderful having her here. The kids got lots and lots of extra attention and love! They played piano . . . Built blocks, did puzzles, played baseball, watched movies and lots more fun things. Grandma even let Chris and I get away for a few nights! Eating pizza and watching movies :). A night out in Las Vegas. Batting practice with Grandma! Enjoying a snack in the sunshine.

Saturday, May 17, 2014. We are so lucky to have such full lives and full hearts . . . being a family feels so special but it is such a common thing. Everyone has a family. Right? Not always and for a long time I did not which makes me even more grateful everyday for my amazing children and my loving and incredible hubby.
