The Pillow Blog: Foodie Friday - The Rustic Stone
http://conorhanratty.blogspot.com/2011/03/foodie-friday-rustic-stone.html
Conor Theatre Director. Foodie. Likes Music. Tuesday, March 29, 2011. Foodie Friday - The Rustic Stone. I seem to love any restaurant with the word 'Rustic' in the title. The latest resident of the corner of George's St and Exchequer St in Dublin 2 is The Rustic Stone, a venture into hearty and heart-healthy cooking by Dylan McGrath. Good wine, nice ambience, great service, excellent food. A replacement for Gruel? Not quite. Or, at least, not yet. But definitely worth a visit. View my complete profile.
The Pillow Blog: Tuesday Tunes - ADELE

Conor Theatre Director. Foodie. Likes Music. Tuesday, March 29, 2011. Tuesday Tunes - ADELE. She gets capital letters a) because Wikipedia says that it's the 'alternate styling' of her name, and b) because I'm shouting her name. At dinner last night with the lovelies, Cian Kate and Simon, she came up in conversation and this led to several screenings and playings and YouTube clips. All enhanced by copious amounts of wine, Earl Grey tea and Milk Tray. (See? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Tuesday Tune...

So, I managed to get to the Olympia Theatre on Sunday night, where one MISS MANGINA JONES was crowned Alternative Miss Ireland 2011. Truly the most extravagant, exciting, enthusiastic and electric night I've had in years! And despite all of those adjective. S, no, I was not off my face on E.). Doubtless you'll be hearing a lot more from her in the not-too-distant future. Long live the Queen ;).

Drifting Planets (Πλανη-τες): the second law of thermodynamics
http://driftingplanets.blogspot.com/2010/03/second-law-of-thermodynamics.html
Sunday, March 21, 2010. The second law of thermodynamics. Teaches us something about the irreversibility in nature. Catastrophe theory in mathematics relates to small changes in circumstances that can lead to abrupt and drastic changes of behaviour. Chaos theory relates to understandings of time and space; say, for example, why do we remember the past and not the future? Science has been slipping notes under my door. And spring is almost back in this part of the world. It's been a while. hello again.
Drifting Planets (Πλανη-τες)
http://driftingplanets.blogspot.com/2009/09/last-night-of-proces-that-begun-long.html
Wednesday, September 16, 2009. The last night of a proces that begun a long time ago. In a flat that we won't see again. That became a temporary home for two weeks. With wine and smoke. Like good old times. That felt like green balloons and drinks on the rock and the perfect sunset in the summer of 2001 and paper plates thrown out of a window. Looks like what it used to be. Yet it is no longer. Then it is gone. And then you hear the sound of someone typing on the keyboard. The same key over and over again.
Drifting Planets (Πλανη-τες): random (1)
http://driftingplanets.blogspot.com/2011/01/random-1.html
Sunday, January 23, 2011. Only 3 posts in a year? That could count as betrayal to my planets. Okay then; in lieu of happy new year (although January is about to leave us), here are five random thoughts of the first days of 2011:. 1 no other drink can beat a good cup of coffee; not even the best cup of tea. 2 the first signs of spring come in January; especially when one realises that days are growing longer and there is still light after 5pm (uk time). Very strange. and yummy. welcome back. Provides the ...
Drifting Planets (Πλανη-τες): two teabags later
http://driftingplanets.blogspot.com/2009/11/two-teabags-later.html
Wednesday, November 04, 2009. It's been a while but the clock seems to have stopped. Curious, last night i dreamt of a white rabbit running and imagine i was following it. Without a reason.it just made sense to me, in an irrational way. It's been a while but i am still sitting on the same seat by the window on a plane. My hair grew short but when i look at my image i am still wearing a purple top and have long hair. And wonder, as now, as ever: whatever happened to human contact? The world is easy. View ...

Drifting Planets (Πλανη-τες): recently...
http://driftingplanets.blogspot.com/2010/05/recently.html
Monday, May 17, 2010. I think that for the past 18 months it's become more difficult to be loyal to this blog and leave a thought here every once in a while. i blame facebook and other social networking sites for that; what is it about the instant 'status updates' in such virtual places that almost hampers my ability to write something longer here? So I stop. trying to understand what time passing really means. And then i start again. Your blog has been recommended to us as a interviewees favorite blog!
Drifting Planets (Πλανη-τες): soon?
http://driftingplanets.blogspot.com/2009/11/soon.html
Sunday, November 08, 2009. Not only is time relative- temporal terms that we use in everyday language are even more relative. We say 'the other day' and we might mean a week or two months ago; we say 'often' but more often-than-not we mean 'rarely'. 'Last time'.which exactly and according to what, is that time classified as 'last'? And worse than anything else.'soon'. Who decides what 'soon' means? Conor Theatre Director. Foodie. Likes Music. Friday, May 13, 2011. Foodie Friday - Jinky's. So, I know, I blipped for the entire month of April. No blog posts, no music, no movies, no spices - how have you coped? Well, I'm back.
