Today, we're out to do a 68km training ride. From our base in Argelès to Luz-Ardiden, a mythical climb around 30km away. Thursday, July 10, 2008. Later on Tuesday 1 July. Well, here I am, back at base at 14.25, 64.4km later. But, wow, what a morning. We rollowed along at a very slow pace for about 22km to Luz Saint Sauveur. There, we took a quick break, and started our way up Luz-Ardiden. Here's a clip of Lance Armstrong. Saturday, July 31, 2010. Hiking up a Storm! And I tackled half of the Baden Powell Trail today. The trail took a bit longer than planned (6:23:53) but considering we hiked from Deep Cove, through Lynn Canyon, halfway up the BCMC and then to the base of Grouse Mountain, we're pretty pumped. Definitely a great hike and something I'd be up to do again next summer. Here were some highlights of the day. Seeing the sunrise at around 5:14am this morning. Following the Fleur-de-Lis all day.
