Thursday, August 11, 2011. Yes, I made three dresses for Alyvia this summer, beginning with her Easter dress. I really enjoy making her dresses. Starting with the pattern, choosing the fabric and then sewing it, is my creativity at work. Sometimes I may see some cute fabric on sale and purchase it then before I even have the pattern. I just love it! Fun At The Water Park (August 3, 2011). It was hard to get them to leave, so I promised them a shake on the way home. I just want my life back!

Each year the students set a goal of how many total sticks they hope to receive for running laps around the play ground for 20 minutes every day for two months. Tuesday, December 27, 2011. 2 Weeks Post-Op Spinal Fusion L5-S1 (12-26-11). I rest a lot during the day to let my body heal. 1 Week Post-Op Spinal Fusion L5-S1 (12-19-11). Monday, December 12, 2011. Surgery today [12-12-11] - Spinal Fusion at L5-S1. Since I had a few minutes before leaving to go to the hospital, just thought I would take a minute to write about a few things this morning. These past two weeks have been a little crazy! Well that is all I have for now. This has been along time coming!

Saturday, January 28, 2012. 6 Weeks Post-Op Spinal Fusion L5-S1 (1-23-12). My body continues to heal and get stronger every day. I have decreased my medicine to only taking Tylenol in the morning and Norco at night. I'm now walking up to 2.5 miles 5 days per week. Sleeping is better as well. I still have some throbbing pain in my leg/foot in the morning, however it gets better after I take my medicine and increase activity.
