Haven't They Been Through Enough. Comfort during active nightmares, develop a nightly routine to promote relaxation. Encourage to restart hobbies and to go out. Be willing to have events at their house or show up. Understand they are not ignoring you but mentally isolating. Distract with stories and laughter. Feel safe because they are aware of the surroundings. Help them to relax, remind to take meds and let them know they are having nightmares so they may seek help. Help Conquering PTSD now.
