Joined the club in 1947 a year after when Bristol Harlequins reformed again after the second world war, and took the name of the original Bristol Harlequins of the 1870's. Although the club struggled we had some great characters who had been through the war and that held us together! I was just 20 years old when I joined, but even then the club spirit was always high whenever we played.
