http://constantlyrelocating.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
It's my blog and I'll cry if I want to. Sunday, June 6, 2010. Rusty had a rough night, as I blogged about yesterday, but is now back to his usual crazy self. I was planning to take him to the vet tomorrow, but he seems to be full of spit and vinegar again. I had several people facebook/email/text/call me about Rusty, so thought I'd update ya. He's still terrorizing the neighborhood children and all is right with the world. :). Saturday, June 5, 2010. Up with my sick kiddo. Over the past two years, he has...

It's my blog and I'll cry if I want to. Sunday, January 13, 2013. I went to church today.alone.and whaddya know, God wrote me a sermon. Nice of him to ignore everyone else's problems and just concentrate on little old me! I've been kinda offended.and disappointed lately. I am almost positive he was joking. Initially. Now that I have escalated it in response to his probably-joking email, he's probably not joking anymore. I know the answer to those questions. 3 Well, I guess that's it. I think the thing bo...

It's my blog and I'll cry if I want to. Sunday, January 24, 2010. Hangin out in Phoenix. Divine Hubby and I have a divine daughter who attends Arizona State University in Tempe, AZ. She is gorgeous, brilliant and in all ways, divine. (Ok, maybe not ALL ways, but she's 19.) She has a condo in Phoenix. Her condo is lovely, safe and was an amazing buy for our little family. The water heater leaks. SO, she called the warranty company and said "come fix it! Wednesday, January 6, 2010. Bring it on, 2010. And w...

It's my blog and I'll cry if I want to. Tuesday, December 21, 2010. I am sure there isn't anyone out there still checking my blog, but just on the off chance that my mom hasn't quite given up on me.here's a new post! What's been going on since September 3, you ask? Well, until January 18 when I have three more grad school classes to manage. Thankfully, one of them is online, so I will only have to go to UNLV from 4-10 on Monday nights. Can I tell you how much I hate my study skills class? Simple template...

A blog by Tom 'n Kate. PDX Pix - May 2013. May started off with a fun event - Kate defended her Master's thesis at San Jose State, so as of now she's officially a master! Joking aside, it's a great accomplishment and perhaps more importantly to her, means that she's done and can go back to focusing on teaching. I tagged along on the weekend trip and we got a nice visit with friends in as well. We even had a pool party! Other items of note in May were the DASH puzzlehunt. The Bay Area gang. And Argo.

A blog by Tom 'n Kate. YTVotD - Cookie Monster Edition. Wasn't Sesame Street fantastic? PDX Pix - June 2012. June was a busy month! And beautiful, as we got a lot of the weather people here in western Oregon rave about. Lots of pictures, including a couple trips to some very photogenic places. Let's start of by celebrating Kate finishing the school year at the Teachers Fountain! Kind of a weak fountain - maybe it's meant to represent the current underfunded state of the education system. We stopped at De...

A blog by Tom 'n Kate. YTVotD - Romney likes lakes. Guest-starring for YouTube is the NYTimes today:. Sorry it's cropped a bit. PDX Pix - April 2012. April photos are dominated by kitchen remodel progress, sorry. We are also enjoying our first spring here in the PNW - things are so green and towards the end of the month everything started exploding with blooms of all colors! Got to go to a Blazers game at the Rose Garden! Beautiful pastoral countryside SW of us, explored on a bike ride. Good job, Marc.

A blog by Tom 'n Kate. YTVotD - Happy 3rd Birthday, SDO. I encourage you to watch in 1080p and larger size on youtube. PDX Pix - January 2013 (plus Erin/Jim wedding). In January we had a couple fun snowshoeing trips, some snowy skiing in Colorado, saw the world snow sculpture championships in Breckenridge, and Erin and Jim's winter wedding near Rocky Mountain National Park (technically it was in February, but I'll include them here). I guess it was a snow-themed month! Sunny winter day at Mt Tabor park.

Port-a-potties" - preparing for a dump trip. Timbers game w/work group. Some pictures from the Eagle Creek trail. Tunnel Falls - the trail actually tunnels through the rock behind the waterfall on about a 50' ledge. Pretty spectacular! Full Sail taster and Dominion in Hood River. Rafters running the Clackamas.

A blog by Tom 'n Kate. It's been quite a long time since I had a google maps-related post, but this is pretty cool. Chapel Hill/Durham really do seem to have grown. A blog by Tom 'n Kate. PDX Pix - July 2012. Sorry, I'm a little late on the July update. In July we had a great Independence Day weekend/week visit from our Bay Area friends, I did the Seattle-to-Portland. 200 mile (2-day) bike ride with a group of 9 of us from Portland and Seattle, and of course we continued on with quite a bit of house and yard work. Summer in Portland is beautiful! Kate works on putting the floating cork tile floor in the kitchen. Ann and Adam excited about their Deschutes tasters.

A blog by Tom 'n Kate. PDX Pix - August 2013. I'd readily go back some day. Other than that, we spent a lot of time around Portland, working on the house, visiting with friends, and nesting away waiting for our new arrival in September (or maybe October? Here's what we've been up to. Check out the mutant carrots we got this year. Delicious, but often unusually shaped. Along the food theme, here are Kate and Carla at a Latin cooking class. A blog by Tom 'n Kate. PDX Pix - September 2012. September. Indian summer here in Portland. Some of the highlights:. Made lots of fruit "extracts" from the large quantities of Yakima fruit that Anonymous brought from Yakima. These are basically simple syrups made out of fruit pulp instead of water. We mix them with seltzer to make delicious semi-sodas. Flavors include lime, apricot, cherry, peach. We finished installing the kitchen cork tile floors! And the raspberries kept coming and coming! Sunday, December 21, 2008. We went to Alan's work Christmas party Friday night that was held at the Green Valley Ranch. It was a nice affair with an open bar and delicious buffett. Here are some pre-party shots of Alan and I. Alan looks very dapper in his suit while the look I was going for was "tarty". I think I pulled it off. I didn't get as many shots of my friends as I would have liked. Here are a few though. This is Sally and Nena and we were all having a good time! Sally and her husband Jim. Yep, i...

This Is Serious Stuff. Rogue One tie-in for Star Wars Battlefront? April 10, 2016. The next question of course is whether we could be heading for a Rogue One tie-in for Battlefront? Looking at the DLC schedule for Battlefront, there’s a couple of opportunities to give Battlefront players a taste of the Rogue One action.
