Constitutional Tidbits - Quotes: January 2011
http://constitutionaltidbits-quotes.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
Tuesday, 18 January 2011. The battle for the hearts of America rages on. Those who would be instrumental in returning this country to the greatness instilled and inspired by our Founding Fathers cannot afford to relax in the least bit. The following quote by Thomas Paine is every bit as applicable today as it was in 1776. The summer soldier and the sunshine patriot will, in this crisis, shrink from the service of his country; but he that stands it NOW deserves the love and thanks of man and woman.".

Constitutional Tidbits - Blog: October 2010

Wednesday, October 20, 2010. Now Is The Time. My fellow Americans, my friends, when the Founding Fathers wrote the United States Constitution, they had the wisdom to build into it the means of peaceful self-repair- the opportunity for the people to vote and choose their leaders. Doesn't the Statue of Liberty espouse the idea of helping everyone? The reality, however, is that through their propaganda of "compassionate programs", "progressives," have been, like spider's in their web, wrapping threads aroun...

Constitutional Tidbits - Blog: Would That The Founders Were Here Today
http://constitutionaltidbits-blog.blogspot.com/2011/01/would-that-founders-were-here-today.html
Wednesday, January 5, 2011. Would That The Founders Were Here Today. I felt that same fire today as I read John Adams one and only inaugural address. The honest in heart cannot read these marvelous speeches without a feeling of faith and courage flaming up inside. At the same time I couldn't help asking myself, "Where are men like this today? Where is the firm and solid conviction? I can only find it in a few places. When you have read it, let me know what you think? Posted by Randall McNeely.

My Scriptural Insights: February 2010
http://scriptjourn.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Tuesday, 9 February 2010. An Attitude of Gratitude. One of the greatest chapters exemplifying the proper attitude of gratitude is, in my opinion, Alma chapter 26. I cannot read this chapter without feeling the desire to rejoice myself, with Ammon and his brethren, and find my self wanting, as it were, to shout praises to God from the housetops. The converted Lamanites were gathered into the garners of the Lord of the Harvest and kept safe. Ammon and his brethren had the courage to come up out of the Land...

My Scriptural Insights: January 2009

Thursday, 22 January 2009. God's Work Will Go Forth. In these turbulent times, it is a breath of fresh air to me to come across verses in the scriptures that give me solace, comfort and the courage to move forward despite the challenges all around and ahead. Such are the following verses from D&C section 3:. And the designs, and the purposes of God cannot be frustrated, neither can they come to naught. 2 For God doth not walk in crooked paths, neither doth he turn. Upheld by my righteous, omnipotent hand.

My Scriptural Insights: And They Were Also Taught From On High
http://scriptjourn.blogspot.com/2010/12/and-they-were-also-taught-from-on-high.html
Sunday, 12 December 2010. And They Were Also Taught From On High. I was reading in the book of Ether this morning and once again read chapter 6:17. And they were taught to walk humbly before the Lord; and they were also taught. I've read that verse dozens of time and never really taken the time to think about it's meaning. What really struck me was the last part, "and the were taught from on high.". What does this mean? He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
