Container Gardening
Friday, February 5, 2010. Containers come in many sizes, shapes, and materials. Whether you pick clay, plastic, or wood, make sure they have enough holes in the bottom to allow for proper drainage. If you set them on a patio or cement floor, you may want to drill a few holes in the sides to allow better drainage. For shallow rooted crops like lettuce, peppers, radishes, herbs and most annuals, you should have a container at least 6 inches in diameter and at least 8 inches deep. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

I know these are good bugs, since they eat bad bugs, but they are sooooo freaky looking! They totally freak me out. One molted in one of my okra containers, and the exoskeleton is even weird to look at. I hope they don't get too big, because then they'll be even freakier. Posted by Samantha Draper.
