Contemplations

Monday, December 20, 2010. If you're like most of us, you have a few people in your life that are (how can I say this? But how do we do as we know we ought in the situations? We could simply bite out lip and "love" them but I don't think that is the spirit of the command. I believe that we aren't being asked to Love like "I love my children", but not wish them evil. When we look at it that way, "loving" is a "doable" act. And in a way it's a reflection of us walking in forgiveness. His Way vs the Law.

Contemplations: November 2010

http://contemplationsgabrielgrimes.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html

Sunday, November 28, 2010. His Way vs the Law. This entire book is about offerings and tithes. And the point is that there are blessings linked to the giving of the people, but the people aren't living in those blessings and have been blaming God. So in this book God points out why they aren't living at the level they should. This verse in particular stood out to me since it mentions a difference between the Law and His Way. God is lamenting the same thing in this verse. The word " Partiality. Old Testam...

Contemplations: December 2009

http://contemplationsgabrielgrimes.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html

Sunday, December 27, 2009. I was pondering what an amazing thing was God’s Favor, when my son asked me what the difference was between Mercy and Favor. I started with the Dictionary Definition:. FAVOR- Overgenerous preferential treatment - a sign of liking - an act of kindness beyond what is due or usual. MERCY- Compassion or forgiveness shown towards someone whom it is within one’s power to punish or harm. Monday, December 21, 2009. Principle of the Giver. Principle of the giver. This principle is cruci...

Code Trail Bletchley Park. Bedford St Johns East. Bedford St Johns West. The human mind and body are amazing entities. One is clearly physical, yet the other, consciousness, is not so easily understood. Together they are ‘the machinery of perception'. Human psychological internal and external experiences are largely interpreted via the external senses and signals through and into internal feelings and emotions. Please enjoy taking the time to contemplate.

Contemplations For Life

Everyday we experience things that upon deeper contemplation show us that there's a presence, love and plan of God for our lives; and God, in His time, in His ways calls us to return to Him, to reconnect with Him and to be a reflection of Him in every aspect of our lives more fully and profoundly. Let's Talk. (Isaiah 55). Sunday, December 21, 2008. Getting To The End To Truly Begin. We've most likely all seen the classic scenario played out on the big screen. Get your life right before God. Contemplations of a Collegiate

April 18, 2012. Spring has arrived in Bellingham! I am making a very tiny garden in planters, and my seeds sprouted! Those are baby lettuce and spinach, with some barely-up nasturtiums, and some established flat leaf parsley and pansies. This is my baby garden. It has lettuce, spinach, chives (x2), nasturtiums, flat leaf, and oregano. There are also some volunteer tulips! Posted by Just Another Human. January 18, 2011. 2) I have been on 'vacations' we weren't allowed to talk about. 7) I love chocolate.
