Staycation Blog: July 2009
http://staycationblog.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
It's all about the "staycation," the (admittedly kind of annoying) buzzword for a vacation in your hometown. Staycation ideas, strategies and experiences, led by the author of "The Great American Staycation.". Tuesday, July 14, 2009. Community theatre production links. Here are some links to the theaters in the Dallas area related to this week's appearance on "Good Morning Texas" on WFAA Channel 8. Community theaters - or theatres, because the spelling varies - are fun ideas for staycations. Not really&#...

Up on the Stage: Impressions of a Forensics Judge (Pt. 3) - Policy Debate
http://scottmartindale.blogspot.com/2015/02/impressions-of-forensics-judge-pt-3.html
Wednesday, February 25, 2015. Impressions of a Forensics Judge (Pt. 3) - Policy Debate. When I first decided to start judging again, I had intended not to judge any C-X Policy debate. I did wind up judging a few rounds at one tournament, and my reasons for not wanting to were validated. To call this a public speaking event would be a farce. Policy debaters speak entirely too rapidly (called. I actually struggle to think of any value to this event. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Upcoming Shows to See.

Friday, July 11, 2008. I trekked over to Bass Hall in Fort Worth with my good friend, Lonny, to see Avenue Q. Last night. We sat in the Upper Gallery Center section, and although I did have to hold onto the railing to prevent a mild case of vertigo, I must say that those "nosebleed" seats are far superior to the third balcony at the Music Hall in Dallas. But, he ended up thoroughly enjoying the show as well. Now that I've seen the show, it is much more understandable how it beat out Wicked. Music Theatre...
