2011年 平成23年 3月11日(金)14:46に発生した東北地方太平洋沖地震は東北地方から関東地方の広い範囲に阪神淡路大震災を凌ぐ未曽有の激甚災害をもたらしました 今回の地震では，東北地方から関東地方の広い範囲で，大きな地震動の揺れと津波によって幾つかのまちが一瞬のうちに壊滅し２万人を超える多くの人々が犠牲になりました 震源から比較的離れた首都圏においても継続時間の長い長周期地震動による天井の落下や家具などの転倒被害，地盤の液状化による電気 ガス 上下水道などインフラの被害や建物の傾斜，交通手段の停滞による多数の帰宅困難者，正確な情報が伝わらないことによる避難の遅延、風評被害など市民生活を脅かす様々な問題点が浮き彫りになりました. 地震動と構造物被害 ， 地盤災害 ， 構造物被害に付随する諸問題. プロジェクト自体は2013年度 平成25年度 に終了しましたが，復興支援活動は今も続けています 震災から2014年度 平成26年度 に至る流れを以下に簡単にまとめます. 小林昭男，中西三和 海洋建築工学科 ，山田雅一 建築学科. 2011年6月2日 木 東日本大震災復興支援研究プロジェクト キックオフ.
